Allergy Itching and Hot Spot Relief

by Laurie
(Oceanside, CA USA)

My nine year old Shih Tzu developed a number of allergies when he was about five. I have taken him to numerous Vets both Traditional and Holistic but haven't had any success curing his allergies. In search to find something that would comfort him, I came across a blog where someone had used Listerine to treat their dog's skin problems. I gave it a try and it helped a lot! It would immediately stop him from digging and chewing and when used on a regular basis, his skin which had red sores, black discoloration and hair loss, began to improve. He still has his allergies but he also now has some relief!!

You MUST use the original GOLD colored Listerine (generic brands do work just as well). Do Not use mint or any other flavored type mouth wash.

You may blot it on using a cotton ball or pad if the area is small or I use a fine misting spray bottle for his back and stomach and gently rub through coat.

USE EXTREME CAUTION when applying near eyes and genitals. The product does contain alcohol.
