How to Dog Drying for Your Dog's Dog Grooming

Efficient dog drying is what you want to accomplish. Depending what dog grooming dryer you have chosen will depend on what technique is appropriate. You have managed to get this far in your dog grooming and now have this step and the brush out left to do.

If your dog grooming tool of choice is a forced air dryer, then what you want to do is blow the water away from the skin by moving the nozzle in close to your dog and when the water is off the skin moving out with the nozzle to let the hair dry. Don’t move on until that area is completely dry.

When you are drying the face and head of your dog be careful around the eye and ear area. You can blow an eyeball out of the socket or rupture an eardrum by blowing the air into the ear canal. If your dryer is a two speed then you will want to turn it down to low when you are drying the head. Being safe is not being sorry later.

If your choice of dog grooming equipment is a hot air stand or table top dryer you will control the heat temperature you use to dry your dog. You will also be able to use your dog brushes. While you are drying you can brush your dog out.

One thing to watch here is that you don’t burn your dog. Always watch the heat of your dryer and how long you leave it on a single spot.
