Our 3rd Dog Charity is Guide Dogs of The Desert providing mobility to the blind.

They have a very succinct, two sentence mission statement, that is well worth the read when you log onto their site. You will also see a wonderful quote from Helen Keller.

The founder a Mr. Lafayette “Bud” Maynard started Guide Dogs of the Desert out of his home in 1972. Training one student at a time by 1975 the demand had out grown his capacity to continue in his own home. The whole story is on the website for this canine charity.

There are many different ways to donate to Guide Dogs. All of them listed on their site. With their tribute donation a card will be sent to the person you list as recipient. Once again this is a heartfelt condolence for someone who has recently lost their pet.
