If Listed as a Non Shedding Dog it May Also be a Hypo-Allergenic Dog

Is there truly a non shedding dog. There are certainly breeds of dogs listed as non shedding. These dogs are usually a single coated dog that don’t have a soft downy undercoat. So there is no large dropping of coat. As far as a total non shedding canine I don’t believe you will find one. All dogs shed some hair at one time or another during the year, but these dogs shed a minimal amount of coat.

All the dogs listed as a hypo-allergenic dog are also considered non shedding. Then there are some others that are also minimal shedding dogs. These range from small dogs to big dogs and include some of the new designer dog breeds.

All these dogs require dog grooming on a regular schedule. You will want to have your dog grooming tools ready for whatever the grooming requirements for that breed may be.
