Find Your Dog in the Terrier Group and then Learn his Grooming Needs.

Dog grooming in the Terrier Group, although more of them are smaller, can also mean more work. In the show world a portion of these breeds of dogs are hand stripped, we’ll get into that later, and their heads and legs are trimmed to meet certain requirements. The terriers were originally bred to go to ground after vermin and rodents. While many of them are short-haired, many others require haircuts to keep them looking good.

You will want to dig around in your pet grooming supplies for the right dog grooming equipment to take care of these breeds of dogs. You’ll want to have your dog shampoo, dog grooming clippers, nail trimmers, etc.

Dogs in the this Group are:

The Airedale Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Terrier, Bedlington Terrier, Border Terrier, Bull Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Smooth and Wirehaired Fox Terrier, Irish Terrier, Kerry Blue Terrier, Lakeland Terrier, Manchester Terrier, Miniature Bull Terrier, Miniature Schnauzer, Norfolk Terrier, Norwich Terrier, Scottish Terrier, Sealyham Terrier, Sky Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Welsh Terrier, and the West Highland White Terrier.
