Trimming feet with Your Dog Grooming Scissors Will Make a Nice Looking Foot

Trimming feet to make a nice looking foot takes just a few of your basic dog grooming tools. You will want to have your dog on your dog grooming table, have your dog brushes at ready, your dog grooming comb handy and of course you will need your dog grooming scissors.

You’ve brushed your dog out well and gone through the coat with your comb to make sure all the snarls are out. Now with your dog standing you will want to comb the hair down over the foot. Take your dog grooming scissors, lay them flat on the table so they are in a position to cut any over hanging hair and then trim off the hair all the way around the foot. You may want to repeat this process a couple of times to make sure you get all the stray hair off. You should end up with a nice trim foot with the hair covering the nails.

If your dog is a Pomeranian or another breed of dog with a fuzzy paw then you can take your thinning scissors and lightly trim the hair off the top of the foot so you have a nice smooth looking foot.
